Europe's earliest Husky Sled Rides
Kick off the winter season together with us, and join our huskies for a sledding experience through the Arctic wilderness.
Early Bird Dog Sledding Experience
Your experience begins with an optional pickup from your hotel in Kirkenes, followed by a 15-minute drive to the Snowhotel. Upon arrival, you are welcomed at the dog yard by one of our guides, and outfitted with the essential gear - including thermal suits, boots, and gloves - ensuring comfort and warmth for the adventure ahead. Each sled is steered by an experienced musher, and you sit in pairs as passengers, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery and experience. The tour follows our man-made snow trail, built specifically for this experience using snow saved from last year. The early-bird track covers approx. 6 kilometers and follows a scenic route along the fjord. A short stop is included midway, giving some time to rest the dogs and hear stories from the trail. After the sledding tour, upon return to the Snowhotel, your driver is ready to take you back to your hotel in Kirkenes.
