Head into the polar night
Chase the Aurora and experience the magic of the Arctic on this evening husky sledding adventure.
Glide through the quiet polar night and enjoy the thrill of sledding while keeping an eye on the sky for northern lights to appear.
Your tour starts with either a pickup from your hotel in Kirkenes, or meeting up at the Snowhotel dog yard. Before heading out, your guide will provide warm clothing, safety instructions, and you'll be introduced to your husky team that will pull your sled. Two guests share each sled, driven by an experienced musher.
The trail will guide you across the frozen fjord away from all light polution. A short break at a gapahuk allows the dogs to rest and gives you time to enjoy the views and listen to stories from your guide. If the northern lights appear, we will pause to admire and photograph the display. After the tour, the sled returns to the Snowhotel camp, and your driver takes you back to your hotel in Kirkenes.
Note: Since the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee sightings during your activity.
