Practical Information

Snow Resort Kirkenes offers a transfer service for all guests arriving/departing by boat (from/to Hurtigruten/Havila), plane (from/to Kirkenes Airport KKN) or from/to the citycenter of Kirkenes (Thon or Scandic hotel).

  • Free transfers for all activities at the Snow Resort including transfers. Please double check the transfer information (meeting time & place) listed on the activity page.
  • Free transfers for our overnight guests at the Snow Resort (Gamme Cabin or Snow Room)*. Please select your preferred transfers upon checkout when making a reservation.

* This does not include airport transfers: Please book your transfer from/to the airport in addition to your overnight reservation, and attach the flight details.

Where is Snow Resort Kirkenes?

The Snow Resort is located about 8 km outside of Kirkenes, a town in Northern Norway. Transfers from the airport, the harbour or the city center take about 15 minutes from/to the Snow Resort. Welcome!

The Snow Resort is located about 10 km from the harbour, which equals a 15 minute drive.

How far is it from the airport to the Snow Resort?

We are about 10 km/15 minutes by car from the airport.

When and where should I meet for my excursion?

We recommend you meet at the mentioned meeting place, about 15 minutes before the start time of your activity.
