Open year-round, this unique hotel features 13 beautifully crafted ice suites, a magical ice bar, Santa’s Workshop, and stunning snow art, all preserved even through the summer thanks to clever insulation and cool northern temperatures.

On your guided tour, you’ll learn how the Snowhotel is built and maintained, hear heartwarming stories about our huskies and reindeer, and discover what it’s really like to spend a night in a room made entirely of snow and ice.

After the tour, feel free to explore at your own pace, take photos, relax in the cozy café, or browse our gift shop for a special Arctic souvenir.

We recommend you meet at the mentioned meeting place, about 15 minutes before the start time of your activity.

Is the Snowhotel open all year round?

Yes! The Snowhotel 365 is open all-year-round. Join us on a guided tour, or spend the night in a Snow Room at any time of the year.
Welcome to visit every day between 09:00 - 21:00.

Are you only a snow hotel?

No. The Snowhotel is a part of Snow Resort Kirkenes. In addition to the Snowhotel365, you can stay at our Gamme Cabins, enjoy a nice lunch or dinner at our restaurant(s) - and book a wide range of activities, depending on the season! 👉 To Do at the Snow Resort‍

A convenient transfer will transport you from and back to the city center of kirkenes, the harbour and the airport.
